Chapter IPortugal · Founding chapter

A private members’ club, taking shape in Portugal

One trusted relationship for the life you build.

Settlers Club is for people building a real relationship with Portugal. From property and automobiles to golf, yachts and distinctive local makers, one club relationship helps you navigate important decisions over time.

For people choosing a place, not merely acquiring an asset.

1 · The meaning

Relationship before transaction

A place to live,
not merely a market to enter.

A settler is someone creating a meaningful part of life in a place—permanently, seasonally or through a recurring home and lasting local ties.

A property can begin the relationship. It may be a home, a long-held asset or both. But a life in a region soon crosses the boundaries between industries.

The club preserves context across those moments, so each new request begins with understanding rather than another introduction from zero.

“ A property can be a transaction.
Settling is a relationship.

2 · One relationship

We remember what matters to you

Your life is not organised by industry.
Your trusted network should not be either.

The club listens first, structures the request and brings in the right independent specialist with the context that matters. The request is never broadcast to a list.

3 · Chapter I

Portugal · Network in formation

Founding regional chapter

Portugal,
considered as a whole.

A chapter is built around local knowledge, careful relationships and a set of categories that develops with the region. These are the first areas of focus—not a public catalogue.

1

Property

Founding focus

Homes, estates, second residences and selected property investments.

2

Automobiles

Network forming

Sourcing, inspection, purchase and long-term ownership.

3

Home & Design

Network forming

Architecture, renovation, interiors and the care of a home.

4

Bespoke Bicycles

Founding partner opportunity

Custom builds, fitting and distinctive makers.

5

Yachts

Coming later

Purchase, charter, berthing and ownership.

6

Golf

Coming later

Club fit, membership and trusted introductions.

7

Beyond the List

Private requests

Some needs should not be forced into a predefined category.

Categories will vary by chapter as each regional network develops. A visible category signals direction, not guaranteed availability.

4 · The relationship in practice

Start with a request, not a catalogue

A considered response,
from one accountable person.

You might need a few good options, an introduction or simply someone to talk things through with. We begin there, and agree the next step together.

  1. 1

Tell us what you are trying to build

Describe the desired outcome in your own words.

  2. 2

A club representative reviews the request

One person takes responsibility for context, priorities and timing.

  3. 3

    We search privately

We use specialist tools and a trusted network to prepare the right next step.

  4. 4

    The conversation continues

Agree the next step with us and stay in touch through WhatsApp or Telegram.

Our tools help us search and organise information. People remain responsible for every member relationship and recommendation.

5 · Membership

A working model · Not yet open for application

Continuity, not benefits

Your next request
does not begin from zero.

A home today, a family car next year, an architect when plans change. You come back to people who already know your preferences and understand what matters.

We are still shaping membership. There is no paid subscription to join today: you can simply get in touch and tell us what you have in mind.

6 · Trust & transparency

Clear principles, quietly stated

Discretion is a practice,
not a claim.

A private relationship works only when responsibility and commercial terms are clear. These principles guide how the club is being built.

1

Private by default

Requests are not publicly listed, and personal details are not distributed as a mass lead.

2

Qualified where required

Regulated or specialist work is performed by appropriately qualified independent partners.

3

Commercial clarity

The club may receive a referral or success fee after a completed transaction. Relevant relationships are disclosed where appropriate.

4

Human accountability

Technology assists research and organisation. People remain responsible for every relationship and recommendation.

7 · Local chapters

The regional model

The long view

One standard.
Many local chapters.

Portugal is the founding chapter. Another should open only when a credible regional operator and a strong category network are in place.

The long-term vision is a membership that travels with the member.
